As a young child, Steve Sundram displayed an amazing artistic gift as soon as he was able to hold pencil to paper. This gift, combined with his profound love of nature, has carried him to the heights of creativity and success, resulting in a growing repertoire of work as well as a flourishing global art, design and licensing business. In 1979 Steve left Australia with the aim of encountering as many different wildlife animals, ocean creatures and cultures as possible, crisscrossing the globe while drawing and painting along the way. In 1990 he moved to Hawaii, where he began to paint the profusion of the natural world that he saw around the globe; since then he has emerged as one of the world's leading environmental artists. His new "Mania" series was inspired by his passion for creating imaginative and whimsical images for jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts around the world.
